Characters with Mental Illness

I write a lot about tough stuff. Even in my lighter work, I frequently have characters who are dealing with mental illness, addictions, or other physical maladies. It takes a lot of research and being able to put myself into someone else’s head and be able to successfully immerse the reader into the world of someone suffering from a disorder that they don’t have.
